If you have what it takes to be a business broker, you will want to work in a very active office. VR Business Brokers is looking for people who are motivated self-starters. You must have a real estate agent’s license from the California Department of Real Estate.

It’s helpful if you have owned a business in the past or have been involved in business, but is not required.

Some of the most successful agents come to us with a sales background. Both men and women do equally well in this industry. All agents are independent contractors and make their own marketing and business plan with the help of the manager.

We offer training on multiple levels. First, you will attend a basic training program to learn the ABC’s of being a Business Broker. Second, you will work closely with the office manager to get a “quick start” in the business of selling businesses. This is real on the job training. Third, ongoing training is provided at our weekly meetings where agents get to hear from the management on issues that affect the business broker and various industries. Our agents enjoy the weekly meetings; this is when everyone gets the opportunity to share listings and ideas.
